Seka and Braco chocolates, and Domaćica cookies, promoted by celebrities

Worldwide fame of Croatian brands

Stana Katić, an American movie star of Croatian origin, these days made everyone at company Zvečevo intensely happy after publishing pictures of chocolates Braco and Seka (Brother and Sister) on her Instagram account. Marijana Antunović, marketing director at Zvečevo, did not hide her satisfaction with this action by Katić. It is assumed that the famous actress, who during the past holiday season without any media hype visited Zagreb, Mostar and Belgrade, probably had the opportunity to savour the chocolates produced since 1950 and sold not only in the region but also around the world, from the United States, over Switzerland, to Jordan and Australia.

Popularity of Seka and Braco was also recently boosted by singer Severina. For her wedding, a special series of 600 chocolates was made which were given to wedding guests, and on which the photos of the girl and the boy on the chocolates were added names Severina and Igor.

A great promotion for another Croatian brand, Kraš’s cookies Domaćica, was recently made by footballer Ivan Rakitić. On social networks he published a photograph with his teammates Neymar and Pereira, in the foreground of which is a box of Domaćica. Photo was obviously not enough for Rakitić, so he wrote: “You like my Croatian cookies. How he likes to eat Domaćica – Neymar Jr!”. Could this be a challenge for Croatian companies for some new campaigns?
