Top creatives from around the world, hailing from agencies such as David&Goliath Los Angeles, Leavingstone Tbilisi, McCann London, Havas Blockchain Paris, WINGS Creative Leadership Lab, Ketchum Moscow, Wecollab and We are Social, are coming as speakers to the fourth national integrated festival communication – KAKTUS 2018 in Serbia. The festival will be held on November 12th and 13th at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Belgrade, under the slogan “Idea is nothing without execution!”.
Like previous years, KAKTUS 2018 will offer its participants a quality and diverse program from various areas of integrated communications, as well as an overview of the latest trends in the world. The festival will be opened by Marcelo Padoca, Creative Director of David & Goliath LA (US), with lecture on “What we can unlearn from Michael Bay”. Padoca is one of the most rewarded creative directors in the US, with over 15 years of experience. During his career, he has won over 150 awards at world-renowned festivals, and in 2013 he helped Ogilvy Brazil become the Agency of the Year at the world’s biggest creative festival, the Cannes Lions.
Attractive lecture on “Creative Confidence” will be held by Giorgi Avaliani, creative director of the Leavingstone, Georgia. Avaliani shares his professional life between creative design of campaigns, design and digital in the agency, running local production of Georgian vodka, and making music. His multidisciplinary talent helped the small agency from Tbilisi to grow into the largest local creative company with over 100 international awards.
In the framework of interactive creative talks, the participants of the festival will be introduced to Chad Warner, Integrated Creative Director, McCann London (UK). He will speak on “Being obsessed with creative reinvention“. Regardless of whether he works on the promotion of Lexus or the design of innovative billboards for Xbox, his passion lies in integrated communication and brand promotion through multi-channel. He is the founder of one of the first Integrated Communications agencies in Detroit, USA.
A very current topic, “Creative content powered by people. Approaching creative production in a social world”, will be presented by Gabriele Cucinella, Stefano Maggi and Ottavio Nava, directors of the We are Social (Italy & Spain). They are one of the largest and most innovative digital agencies in Italy and Spain, with more than 180 staff.
On the second day of the festival, a debate will be held on “Idea is nothing without execution”, with participation of Uroš Miklavčić (Huawei, SLO); Ljiljana Radosavljević (PepsiCo West Balkans); Aleksandar Milić (Sberbank); Catherine Lero (MARS – Orbit); Sašo Dimitrievski (Pristop Group, SLO); Nemanja Stanković (Executive Group). The panel will be moderated by Marina Grihović (Headline and Dkit).
During the two-day festival, audience will also meet: Fabien Aufrechter, Lead, Havas Blockchain (France), Gabriela Lungu, Founder, WINGS Creative Leadership Lab (CZ), Michael Maslov, General Director and Partner, Ketchum Moscow (Russia), Roxana Marin i Diana Nedelea, Co-founders, Wecollab (RO), Nikola Žinić, Co-Chairman and Chief Creative Officer, Bruketa&Žinić&Grey (HR), Veljko Golubović, Executive Creative Director, New Moment New Ideas Company, as well as Sanja Lalević Cvetković, Head of Digital, Direct Media (Serbia) and Igor Černiševski, Digital Group Account Manager, Direct Media (Serbia).
In addition to the educational program, the festival will also include the annual KAKTUS 2018 professional awards, featuring 25 categories. The awards celebrate organizations, companies, institutions and agencies for the highest quality and most professional individual and integrated campaigns in the past year. Who will receive this year’s KAKTUS award is decided by an expert jury composed of 26 prominent professionals from creative, PR and digital agencies from Serbia and the region.
