Works presented at IdejaX can continue their competition journey on the European stage from this year. The Croatian national creative competition has officially been included among the qualified local competitions for the ADCE Awards, meaning its works will be able to compete for distinctions that bring together the best projects from different parts of Europe.

Entries for the 35th edition are already open, and IdejaX’s new status gives Croatian agencies, creative teams, designers and brands an additional opportunity to present works created for the domestic market to a significantly broader professional audience.

The Art Directors Club of Europe brings together projects selected through national and regional creative competitions in one place each year. The ADCE Awards is focused on excellence in advertising, design and communications, as well as on the different cultures, languages and creative approaches that shape the European industry.

The inclusion of IdejaX in this network further confirms the position of a competition that has been following, evaluating and rewarding the development of the Croatian creative scene for years. Works from the domestic market now gain another opportunity for visibility, comparison with European competition and entry into a space where local ideas can achieve an international result.

This year’s ADCE Awards also introduces a new discipline, Creativity by Industry Sectors, in which projects will be evaluated according to the specific circumstances, needs and challenges of individual industries.

The programme continues to include the Film & Audio, Print & Outdoor, Interactive & Mobile, Design, Brand Development & Experience and Integrated & Innovation disciplines, but has been expanded with categories that reflect changes in the way creative work is produced today. These include the creative use of data and artificial intelligence, gaming, creative strategy and the innovative application of technology.

The new Local Insight category has been introduced across all disciplines. It is intended for projects whose ideas emerge from local language, culture, habits or community experiences, meaning works whose value is shaped precisely by the environment in which they were created.

The deadline for entries is 25 September 2026, while the winners will be announced during ADCE Creative Week, which will be held in Barcelona in November.

Awards won at the ADCE Awards also bring points for The One Club Global Creative Rankings, one of the world’s most respected rankings of creative agencies, brands, production companies and professionals.
