Nominations for the Woman.Comm of the Year 2026 award have officially opened, marking the beginning of a new cycle of one of the region’s most recognizable recognitions dedicated to women from the communications industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region.
The official gala ceremony and winner announcement will take place on October 14, 2026, as part of the Snaga komunikacije festival, once again bringing together leading women from the marketing, media, PR, digital, and creative industries in one place.
Over the past several years, Woman.Comm Club has, through more than one hundred published interviews, continuously created a platform for the visibility of women leading the communications industry, developing new business models, driving creative change, and shaping the way brands, media, and agencies operate today.
As Irena Miličević Vukoja, director of Woman.Comm Club, points out, the growth of the community and the increasing number of nominations each year confirm the strength of the professional talent emerging from the regional communications industry.
“Woman.Comm of the Year is not just an award, but a space where we want to give visibility to women who inspire through their work, change the industry, and set new standards. Year after year, our Snaga komunikacije festival grows together with the community we are building, while the number of nominated women confirms how many exceptional leaders Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the wider region, have in the field of communications. That is precisely why the jury, traditionally made up of the previous year’s award winners, faces an extremely difficult task each year – choosing one winner among a large number of successful and inspiring women,” said Irena Miličević Vukoja.
Over the past few years, the Woman.Comm of the Year award has positioned itself as one of the few regional recognitions focused not only on individual success, but also on the broader impact women have on the development of the communications industry – from leading agencies and brands to driving change within the media, creative, and digital sectors.
The nomination process is once again open not only to members of Woman.Comm Club, but also to professionals whose projects, leadership, and professional contributions have left a visible mark on the industry and created greater visibility for women within the communications sector.
