The prestigious awards ceremony recognizing women who have advanced the communications industry across the region will take place on December 6 at Sarajevo City Hall, organized by the Woman.Comm Club. This event aims to honor women who continuously strengthen the foundations of the profession, push the boundaries of creativity in line with the digital transformation of society, tackle challenges, and successfully integrate communication trends into strategies to reach target audiences.
“Year after year, our regional platform contributes to connecting women who live and breathe communications 24/7. Women united by the initiative to make society better, who selflessly share their knowledge and experiences, particularly with young colleagues yet to become leaders of positive change. Their collegiality is best demonstrated through their readiness to nominate one another for awards, showing respect for a colleague’s work, often not knowing them personally but recognizing the impact they leave on the broader community through various activities,” stated Irena Miličević Vukoja, director of the Woman.Comm Club.

During the gala evening, the success of women will be celebrated in eight categories, based on the votes of an expert jury: Marketing Star, PR Star, Media Star, Agency Star, Digital Marketing Star, Employer Branding Star, CSR Star, and Rising Star. Additionally, three special recognitions will be awarded: Regional Ambassador Star, Special Star, and Positive Influence Star.
Aleksandra Dilevska, one of the jury members and CEO of Publicis Groupe Croatia & North Macedonia, COO Adriatic, emphasized that having a regional representative and Super Star recipient participate in the Women’s Forum in Paris – a unique global event by Publicis Groupe – contributes to achieving the goals set by Woman.Comm and the women in the communications industry. She added:
“Women play an extremely important role in the communications industry in the region—it would not be the same without their expertise, attitudes, and leadership styles in key positions. Publicis Groupe has long focused on empowering women and celebrating the successes and contributions they bring to our industry in the region. This is why we are proud to support this unique event.”
For Ena Hodžić, winner of the Woman.Comm Rising Star 2023 award and a jury member this year, the past year was extremely dynamic, filled with new experiences and connections. She highlights that Woman.Comm of the Year offers an opportunity to discover talent, amplify voices, and foster connections while giving each other encouragement.
“It’s a great honor to join incredible marketing and communications professionals as a jury member. This year’s contestants, each in their category, brought incredible diversity and once again showed how many amazing women in our region are working on highly inspiring and outstanding marketing and communication projects,” concluded Ena.
