Rafael Tamames, founding partner of Findasense, a global Customer Experience company, will give his lecture based on the book “Which robot moved my cheese” at the 3rd edition of WINA – World Independent International Awards, which will take place June 1st at the Convention Center in Los Angeles, California.
In the main auditorium and just before the award ceremony, an audience composed by the main world leaders of independent agencies, a first level jury, press and advertising colleagues, Rafael Tamames is going to refer to the exciting task of finding answers in the maze of automation and how to adapt to what is coming so as not to be left out of the game.
Rafael Tamames says: “The question therefore would be if robots are really moving our cheese? New technologies do not have to be the enemy. The alliance between man and machine is the best bet. We must walk through this labyrinth of a ‘new human intelligence’ born of the amazing technological advances we are experiencing.”
The talk will focus on how technology is transforming society at a dizzying pace and in all its aspects. The way in which we communicate, the way we acquire products, how we manage or simply clean up our home, has completely changed due to digitization and robotization. This situation is not easy to control but we cannot stay behind. We must, therefore, adapt. History has shown that technology does not eliminate jobs. And although some professions are nowadays obsolete, new ones appear. In order to adjust to this new situation there are new capabilities that should be acquired. Unlearning what has been learned and adapting to the new reality. For this reason, connectivity is key, not only understood as the connection between people or between machines but also as the capacity for interaction between both.
