White Square Advertising Festival opened early bird call for entries

One of the largest creative festivals in Europe – International marketing and advertising festival White Square – announced the start of the call for entries. Representatives of more than 30 countries of the globe, over 1000 entries and delegates of business program take part in the festival annually. White Square 2021 will be held on June 9-11.

Traditionally, White Square 2021 will include a competition for implemented projects in the field of communications and a business forum in the field of marketing and advertising.

Competition program of White Square 2021 consists of seven contests: Creativity, Branding, Marketing, Marketing Effectiveness, Digital, Media, and since this Craft competition was placed in a separate category, combining excellence in film and radio, print and outdoor advertising.

Entries are already being accepted online on festival’s website. The earliest stage of the call for entries will last from December 1 to January 15, and provides the most profitable conditions for all the participants.

The jury of White Square 2021 will be represented by creative and art directors, top managers of the leading international agencies which headline creativity rankings in their markets – persons with worldwide recognition in advertising from more than 30 countries, holding tones of prestigious festival awards, including numerous Cannes Lions, and rich experience of judging at most remarkable creative festivals around the globe.
Entries will be judged by six jury categories: Creative, Branding, Marketing, Digital, Media, and also international Mass Media jury line-up which will give an independent assessment of entries from the standpoint of industrial media. The main award of the festival – Grand Prix – will be decided by special Grand Jury team consisting of the Chairmen of jury.

White Square is included into industrial rankings: Creativity ranking of Association of Communications and Marketing Agencies of Belarus; Creativity ranking of Association of Communications Agencies of Russia in all segments – advertising, branding, digital, marketing services; and also Rankings of effectiveness of communications and media agencies of Association of Communications Agencies of Russia; Baltic Agency Ranking; Creativity ranking of Estonian Marketing Association; Creativity ranking of Central Asia and Azerbaijan; Global creativity ranking AdForum Business Creative Report.

    EKREM DUPANOVIĆ, founder of Media Marketing portal, author of the Creative Portfolio He started working in the advertising and PR industry 54 years ago (in 1970). For the first 15 years, he worked in the economic and advertising program of Radio Sarajevo (1970-1985), after which he joined the marketing agency OSSA, where he led the sports marketing team for five years. He worked on sponsorship projects for major international events, such as the Winter Olympic Games Sarajevo 1984, the World Cup Ski Finals Sarajevo 1987 (marketing director), the European Athletics Championships "Split 1990" (marketing director), the World Ski Flying Championships "Planica 1994," and others. He managed the sponsorship of Monica Seles from her early days to becoming the world’s number one female tennis player. He is the author of the Woman.Comm Club project, which is successfully expanding in all countries of the Adriatic region.
