“Humanity and quality at all levels are the principles that have connected me with CTA Communications from day one. Over the years, we have collectively built upon this vision, along with processes that have continuously improved our work and, consequently, society as a whole. I have been entrusted with the challenging role of leading both people and projects at a time when our agency is experiencing significant growth. I take this as additional motivation and a sign of great trust. The period ahead will undoubtedly be remembered for many meaningful and beautiful moments,” said Valentina Mezdić, now the Head of Accounts at CTA Communications.
Valentina’s journey with CTA Communications began in 2019 and resembles the plot of a Hollywood movie. Over more than five years, she has progressed through all levels of the agency, starting as an intern during her studies and advancing to a communications consultant on internationally recognized projects. She has extensive experience in developing communication strategies, client management, and executing communication campaigns across various sectors. She is also actively and passionately involved in projects with non-profit organizations aimed at improving living standards for different vulnerable groups in society.
“I cannot imagine a better person than Valentina to take on the oversight and management of the daily operational tasks of our agency teams. In the six-plus years of CTA Communications’ existence, this is one of the moments I am most proud of. A young expert who has grown with us since the company’s inception and has already proven her ability to lead teams and enhance processes is taking on a leadership role. This also reflects our philosophy that even the youngest among us can successfully tackle the biggest challenges in the industry,” said Gordan Turković, CEO of CTA Communications.
At under thirty years old, Valentina has already achieved numerous notable successes, including ten domestic and international awards for successful communication campaigns. Notably, she received the Golden Grand PRix from the Croatian Public Relations Association (HUOJ) and the Golden World Awards for Excellence from the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) in 2022 for the campaign “1100 Kilometers for 1100 Therapies.” Last year, her team’s campaign “Neglect is the First Spark” won a special IPRA Global Contribution Award for a project that, among 79 winners, best aligns with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Valentina has also served as a member of expert juries for the Croatian Public Relations Association’s Grand PRix Awards and the Young Hope competition. She earned her Master’s degree in Communication Studies in 2021 from the Faculty of Croatian Studies at the University of Zagreb, specializing in scientific research in mass communication.
