TOS: Digital LED billboards in My Serbia campaign

Participants of the caravan taste the characteristic local specialties in accordance with the program 52 flavors of Serbia

As part of a summer promotion campaign of the Tourist Organization of Serbia (TOS), My Summer – My Serbia, this year there will be a very interesting novelty. Promotional tour My Serbia will visit 14 cities in Serbia, and impressions that visitors share with their friends and followers on social networks appear, after moderation and branding, in real time on the digital LED billboards in cities across Serbia! In this way, all the participants, visitors of the caravan, but also other interested users of social networks Twitter and Instagram, will be able to share their favorite moments, places and activities in their city with much wider audience by adding a tag #MojaSrbija to their posts.

Tourist Organization of Serbia has thus enabled every user of social networks to be included in the promotion of the tourism potential of their area, and thus become an ambassador of the beauty of their country. In addition to followers on social networks, if the posted images are beautiful and authentic, there is a great possibility that they will be seen on LED billboards in Belgrade, and later in other cities in Serbia. This was enabled by innovative technology, and the images will appear with a branded visual identity of the campaign My Serbia. For these purposes, Tourist Organization of Serbia has leased digital billboards in Belgrade, Kragujevac, Čačak, Novi Sad, Zrenjanin, Sombor and Vršac.

“Using LED technology and digital billboards in promotion, we want to create the synergy of the channels important to all of us, and enable the greatest possible visibility of attractive content created throughout Serbia, published on social networks with #MojaSrbija hashtag. This way we bring closer the tourist attractions of Serbia not only to the online community, but also to all potential clients through ambient advertising. With this innovation, we emphasize the immeasurable importance of promotion via digital channels for each tourism destination,” said Sandra Vlatković, manager of corporate communications and marketing at TOS.

Following the promotional events in Užice, Novi Pazar, Zaječar, Niš, Vranje, Požarevac. Kragujevac, Kruševac, Valjevo and Čačak, caravan My Serbia will visit Novi Sad this week. At the stands of local tourism organizations, visitors will also be able to taste typical local dishes in accordance with the program 52 flavors of Serbia. In these cities, in addition to the hosts, there will be presentations of destinations that gravitate towards a certain city, so they could jointly present their regional offer. Caravan visitors can also expect a giveaway contest titled How well do you know Serbia?
