‘Tools for the Modern Age’ is a national prevention program designed to equip children and youth with the tools for safer, healthier, and more responsible use of digital technologies. The program is implemented in primary schools across Croatia and includes 12 structured workshops for students, as well as lectures for parents and teachers. Its goal is to strengthen and develop children’s socio-emotional skills that are essential for responsible behavior in digital environments. So far, the program has reached over 5,600 students in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades, and more than 355 facilitators from over 150 schools have been trained. The program is already showing concrete results, helping children become safer and more aware of the challenges of the digital age.
