Tomaž Drozg, the president of the Association of Media within the Slovenian Advertising Chamber (SOZ), while assuming responsibility of the President of the Board presented the key projects of the chamber in the future.
„I am taking over the baton from excellent former President Špela Oblak, and the composition of the Board remains the same. The current Board works very coordinated and everything that will happen in the next two years has already been agreed with other members. That’s why my presidency will be a continuation of the work in accordance with the set guidelines, which are primarily concerned with refreshments and repositioning of both major events under the auspices of the SOZ, which are the Slovenian Advertising Festival (SWOF) and the Golden Drum. The second task is to strengthen the professional services and education programs, which is in the direct interest of members of the SOZ, which will thus gain a new added value, while membership in the Chamber will become more attractive. In this regard, we have set ourselves the target to significantly increase the number of members of the SOZ in the next two years. Before us is also the battle for a new law on the media, because the old one has been outdated for a long time. And, of course, the appointment of a new director of SOZ, which will happen these days.”
