Does it seem like entrepreneurship is being talked about more than ever? Have you noticed how the term “entrepreneurial mindset” has become an integral part of almost every conversation about success, development, and careers? Have we already said everything there is to say about perseverance, vision, resilience, and courage on the road to success? And just when we think everything has been said – we meet people who are an inexhaustible source of entrepreneurial stories. These are the innovative, creative, and fearless individuals who don’t see entrepreneurship as a buzzword, but as a tool to change their own lives and shape the future.
These are the kinds of individuals who will join the seventh edition of the Entrepreneurial Mindset conference for young people, held on Wednesday, May 14, at the Algebra University (Zagreb) starting at 11:00 AM, to show that the real questions are yet to be asked – and the answers aren’t in theory, but in the experiences and everyday decisions we make today, for the life we want tomorrow.
The Power Driving the New Generation of Leaders
The future is now! It’s not coming tomorrow, it’s not starting in five years – it’s being shaped by every step young people are taking today. Through a dynamic and rich conference program, space will be created for open discussions on what it means to think long-term, but also to act immediately.
The conference opens with Berislav Horvat (EY Croatia) with an Entrepreneurial Mindset for the Future, followed by Hrvoje Josip Balen (Algebra University Bernays) introducing the attendees to a thought-provoking theme: If you don’t want a boss, learn to think like an entrepreneur. The exciting 2:1 panels follow, with topics such as Employers of the Future with Anita Cvetić Oreščanin and Petar Bobek, Start Something of Your Own with Dario Jurica Vuković and Nikola Kolveshij Radlović, and an intriguing topic – Global, Yet Ours! with Evelyn Knez and Tonči Perić, moderated by Maruša Stamać.
Inspirational keynote speakers will bring authentic stories and concrete experiences: Luka Abrus (FIVE) will talk about his Path of a Thousand YESes, Goran Čipčić (Zorina Mast) will reveal what it means to be Born for Entrepreneurship, and Krešimir Rich (Identalia) will discuss How to Catapult into Business.
In the afternoon program, Nikica Trubić (OTP Bank) and Ognjen Bagatin (Sinteza) will bring a new dose of energy and motivation with Finance for New Generations. Stjepan Zelić (Hypefy) will talk about lessons learned in entrepreneurship through the rollercoaster of life and the startup world, while Olympian and motivational speaker Sandra Paović will bring a sports spirit to the gathering. Boris Trupčević will reveal the secret of walking as the key to career success, while the music, emotions, and story about the father-son relationship in entrepreneurship will be saved for the end – Berislav and Odin Sokač will share their unique family story in the panel Blues Rules, complete with a mini concert. The program will be closed by Joško Lokas, author, editor, and host of Potjera, with a topic that intrigues and inspires. For those with a competitive spirit, there will also be a quiz with famous quizmaster Silvio Pleština, along with many surprises, plenty of humor, and valuable prizes.
