Every year, on the third Thursday of November, wine enthusiasts around the world celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau Day – the day marking the release of the first wine of the year, the fresh and young Beaujolais Nouveau. This tradition, deeply rooted in the French Beaujolais region, honors wine made from the Gamay grape variety, known for its fruity and light flavor.
This year, the French-Croatian Chamber of Commerce marked this special day with a celebration at Hotel Mövenpick Zagreb. The evening dedicated to the celebration of French culture traditionally brought together guests from the business and diplomatic worlds, as well as lovers of French culture.
The gathering was opened by the Chamber’s president, Višnja Ježić Sorić, followed by an inspiring speech on the symbolism of Beaujolais by the French ambassador to Croatia, Mr. Fabien Fieschi. Accompanied by an entertaining program and a concert by Marko Tolja, the event also unveiled the Chamber’s new logo and visual identity.

The new visual identity, designed by the Publicis agency, reflects modernization and continuity in strengthening economic relations between Croatia and France. Inspired by the elegance and modern vision of the renowned French-Romanian sculptor Constantin Brâncuși, the new logo embodies creativity, innovation, and unity, highlighting the strong cultural and economic ties between the two countries.

Additionally, a modern redesign of the Chamber’s website and a membership directory, available in both digital and physical formats, were announced, further facilitating networking among members and expanding business opportunities.
The French-Croatian Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit, non-governmental organization bringing together over 50 companies and representatives of French businesses, investors, and exporters. This evening reaffirmed the importance of such events in strengthening cultural and business ties between Croatia and France.
