Among 12 teams of young agency lions, it was lionesses Aida Hadžić and Dragana Rauš who secured their ticket to Cannes – a true paradise of the creative industry – by winning the PR category. They will represent Bosnia and Herzegovina at the global Young Lions competition, taking place from June 16 to 20, bringing with them the power of local creativity ready for the world stage.
Winners in the Digital category were Wolf Media employees Melika Mundžić and Merjem Ćosović, while the Design category was topped by Anisa Prohić Kunosić and Ena Gluhaković.
This year, the Digital category attracted the most applicants, with seven teams competing, while the Design and PR categories saw three and two teams respectively. As always, the young lions had just 24 hours to develop and present their creative solutions based on a given brief.
This year’s client was the organization Ruku na srce (“Hand on Heart”), which has long worked to support socially vulnerable families and improve children’s rights and education. Their brief served as the foundation for communication solutions that, thanks to this competition, might soon become a reality.
The judging panel that decided on the best entries featured prominent names from the regional marketing scene: Đorđe Janković, Creative Director and Co-founder of the agency Friday Finally; Manuela Šola, Founder of Komunikacijski laboratorij; Nela Fegić Moguljak, Executive Director & Head of Digital at Imago Ogilvy; Nermin Nino Kasupović, Creative Director at Effect agency; and Faris Gurda, representative of the Ruku na srce organization.
The Young Lions BiH competition is held under the auspices of the Branding Conference, organized by the agency Via Media, and is part of the International Cannes Young Lions Competition. For years, this event has provided a platform for young talent to shine and has helped connect the local creative scene with global trends.
Thanks to the support of the organizers, the winners will have their Cannes Lions festival registration fees, accommodation, and airfare fully covered.
