MIXX Awards Croatia, the Croatian competition that recognizes the best digital campaigns and tools/platforms in the field of market communications, has opened submissions for its new, 15th competitive season. This established competition is organized under the international license of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), with IAB Croatia as its representative in the country.
In addition to existing categories in the Campaigns (Brand Awareness Campaign, Direct Response and Lead Generation Campaign, Cross-Media Integration Campaign, Campaign Effectiveness, and Corporate Social Responsibility Campaign) and Tools/Platforms (Best Digital Product, Best Media Strategy, Best Branded Content, Best Website, Best Social, Best Viral, Best Tech & Innovation, Best Publisher Project) groups, four new categories have been introduced this year:
- Best AI-Driven Project, for projects that have significantly integrated artificial intelligence (AI) into their strategy, content creation, implementation, or optimization
- Best Effective Use of Data, for projects that have utilized data in a creative or innovative way to enhance the efficiency and success of the campaign
- Best Video Content, for digital content created as part of a campaign or as standalone, short-term, or long-term content that is not directly adapted from a TVC
- Best Export Project, rewarding projects created in Croatia and implemented in at least one international market.
“As the digital landscape evolves, so does MIXX Awards Croatia, offering the perfect opportunity to showcase market progress in digital communications – both through well-known categories and the new ones. The jury eagerly awaits to see what you have prepared this season,” says Nela Fegić Moguljak (Imago Ogilvy), member of the MIXX competition’s Organizing Committee and this year’s jury president.
The jury will evaluate a combination of strategy, execution, creativity, and achieved results. The main prize, Best in Show, will be awarded to the top-ranked project with the highest average score across all complete campaign categories in Group I. For those diligently creating innovative digital projects, there is also a special 3+1 offer – applicants submitting three entries can submit an additional project free of charge.
In the Campaigns group, only agencies can apply, while in the Tools/Platforms group, applications are open to agencies, startups, and similar companies, except in the R. Best Publisher Project category, where only publishers can apply.
The regular submission deadline is January 14, 2025, while late submissions will be accepted until February 17, 2025. The qualification period includes all projects realized between January 25, 2024, and February 17, 2025.
The MIXX Organizing Committee, responsible for introducing novelties to the competition and monitoring digital market trends, includes Dunja Ivana Ballon (IAB Croatia), Nela Fegić Moguljak (Imago Ogilvy), Mario Frančešević (SeekandHit), Nebojša Grbačić (Cvoke), Đuro Korać (Nivas), Lucija Potočnik (Studio Sonda), and Saša Škorić (Lauris).
