France’s main rail booking platform, Voyages-sncf.com, rebranded as OUI.sncf last December, tapped TBWA Paris for their first campaign for the new brand, and the agency opted for a very colorful and surreal approach.
Directed by Andreas Nilsson, the spot opens in a desert with something of a Mad Max taste to it, with a whole bunch of strange vehicles breaking out of the shards of glass to the high pitch voice of an opera diva.
As she hits the top note of her „Oui“, the shards explode to reveal all sorts of wacky-racer style vehicles. The spot ends with the words “say yes to travel.”
The campaign will also feature 3,800 billboards installed nationally in train stations across France, and a contest on Twitter and Facebook letting users try to win a trip to their favorite destination.
