Taylor Swift has launched her latest music video, „Delicate“, and if it seems recognizable to some of you, there’s a strong reason behind it. Namely, the music video strikingly resembles the famous 2016 ad for Kenzo, directed by Spike Jonze, both in correography and aesthethics.
Much like in the Kenzo ad, the „Delicate“ video shows Swift bursting into a bizzare dance routine after a borring evening. The checklist doesn’t stop there, and continues with a colorful evening dress, corridors of a glamorous hotel, bystanders who don’t seem to notice anything, and so on.
Unsurprisingly, many accused the famous singer of ripping off Kenzo’s spot. Check them both below and decide for yourself.
However, the most charming aspect of the whole story, if true, is the response from Kenzo. Page Six thus claims that one top fashion PR pro, who’s worked with Kenzo, playfully posted online: „Listen Tay, I feel you. It’s hard to stay fresh. Call us, we can help,“ but the comment was removed later.
