The Slovenian Advertising Festival (SOF) has announced emerald green as the official color of its 35th edition, which will take place from March 25 to 27, 2026, in Portorož. The color, which changes each year, is a key element of the festival’s visual identity, while the core structure of the visuals remains unchanged.
The visual identity is once again created by the team at Futura DDB, led by Žare Kerin. “The visual identity of SOF is a constant, while the color changes every year. In 2026, the festival will be marked by emerald green. It represents the pursuit of balance and harmony. It symbolizes richness, refinement and dignity, but also renewal, growth and development – in nature, in the business world, or within ourselves. The photographic motifs are linked to the festival itself: its location, events, professional themes, atmosphere and similar aspects,” Kerin emphasizes.
JUB, a long-standing partner of SOF, traditionally determines and interprets the festival’s color and its framework within the visual identity. As stated by JUB, this year’s SOF color encourages free thinking and opens space for new ideas: “At the heart of this year’s Slovenian Advertising Festival spreads a color that intertwines two fundamental elements of life – water and earth. Emerald green reminds us that without their mutual connection, there is no growth and no future.”
This year, emerald green is not only an aesthetic choice but marks a new phase of advertising excellence focused on greater boldness and freedom of creative expression. At the 35th SOF, the green-blue tone will serve as a visual element connecting participants around a shared vision of a creative future rooted in innovation, collaboration and responsible action. The color also highlights the fragility of nature and the need to shift from exhausting and unsustainable practices to solutions that enable renewal and long-term preservation. In this way, the festival’s color represents a sign of new energy directed toward growth, creativity and sustainable development.
