Marodi and the agency Bruketa&Žinić&Grey won the bronze Cresta award for the project “A Story Worth Every Letter” in the category PRINT CRAFT/Outstanding Art Direction. This is a prestigious international award, recognized as a global standard of creative excellence, and has been awarded for 31 years. The winners were decided by more than 120 experienced leaders and professionals in market communications.
To recall, the inspiration for the project “A Story Worth Every Letter” came from the fact that in 2018, the Međimurje folk song (Međimurska popevka) was included on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, where it will remain protected as long as it is in use. To contribute to the preservation of the song, a limited edition of a collection of five books of Međimurje folk songs – “A Story Worth Every Letter” – was created, where each book comes with a special package of Marodi alphabet pasta for soup, with the exact number of letters needed to form the song.
Cresta is an international award for creativity in market communications, for which many of the most highly regarded international creative companies compete. Unlike similar competitions, here the winners are selected based on the cumulative points of 120 jury members, without mutual discussions that could influence the scoring. The agency Bruketa&Žinić&Grey now holds six Cresta awards.
