Impatience is the main theme of this year’s SEMPL media trends conference, and we are pleased to introduce three speakers, who will each address this issue from their own perspective.

Impatience as the muse of creativity
Petra Krulc, Regional Chief Strategic Creativity Officer at Futura DDB, Slovenia, one of the most respected and well-known creatives not only in Slovenia but more widely, will address the question of how constraints can spark innovation. Throughout history, constraints have fueled some of the most groundbreaking creative work. But how does this dynamic play out in today’s impatient world? Is impatience the new creative muse, or is it quietly stifling creativity? Petra Krulc will share her insights on how the pressure of shorter attention spans, tighter deadlines, and instant expectations are pushing creative teams to innovate and experiment in ways they never have before.

AR enriches tourism experiences
Martina Lucić Čanak, founder of the Croatian tourism PR agency Magic4Club, will also try to crack the code of impatience. In her presentation, you will learn how augmented reality (AR) offers instant gratification in tourism experiences, addressing the impatience of modern travelers. Using real-life examples, she will highlight strategies for leveraging AR effectively to captivate audiences and increase tourism engagement.

How to communicate about climate action?
Sustainable development is on the agenda of every modern company, but there is lack of knowledge of how to communicate about their climate action. Robert Connell, Commercial Sustainability Manager at ClimatePartner Austria, believes that in times of impatience we need clear, fast, transparent and traceable communication on what climate action companies are undertaking. At SEMPL, he will offer insight on the challenges and solutions of corporate climate.
