When crises, uncertainty, and change become part of everyday life, it’s time for REBLOOM. The fourth edition of the Woman.Comm conference brings new momentum to the communications industry – a space where ideas transform into the power that shapes society. In autumn, when nature slows down, Sarajevo will on October 14 and 15 become the place where communication blooms again and paves the way to a better future, hosted at Tershouse.
Day One: The Power of Women in Communication
The first day of the conference focuses on women who have marked and shaped the communications industry for decades, showing how courage, consistency, and the strength of voice can change society. Previous Woman.Comm award winners will share how their work set new standards and pushed the boundaries of the profession.
The conference will also open discussions on burning issues of contemporary society. We will explore the price of honest communication and what happens to those who openly challenge the system and harmful social norms. Among others, Jelena Obućina will speak about the threats, pressures, and responsibilities faced by those who dare to tell the truth. A special source of inspiration will be the lecture by psychologist Danijela Ostojić on women’s mental health in the Balkans.
The program also offers a chance to hear the stories of those who changed the rules of the game, often from behind the scenes, and are now stepping into the spotlight. The panel discussion “The Power of Women Beyond the Glass Ceiling” featuring Jasminka Horvat Martinović, Jelena Trivan, and Sabina Softić will explore where the limits of professional growth lie and how women can overcome them. Meanwhile, the lecture by Belma Hadžiomerović, “When Is Enough?”, will deliver a powerful closing message about the moment when women choose to change direction, career, and life not only for themselves but also for the generations to come.
Day Two: Communication in Times of Change
On the second day, the focus shifts to global and local challenges how to communicate in an environment of constant uncertainty, social pressures, and rapid transformation. Discussions will address how marketing and events shape perceptions of value, and case studies will reveal how traditional brands are finding new ways to communicate with generations living online.
There is already significant interest in the lecture by Katja Fašink, a leading crisis communications expert. Her extensive experience in the energy sector, leading communications in complex infrastructure projects, and numerous awards demonstrate that she sees communication not merely as a function but as a structure that saves reputation and trust when everything else falters. This lecture comes at the right time, when crisis communication is no longer the exception but the rule, and the audience will have the opportunity to hear firsthand how trust is built in uncertain times.
Alongside her, attendees will also hear insights from Krešimir Macan on political PR, Sanela Pašić on internal communication in times of change, and Boro Miljanović on the intersection of artificial intelligence and human creativity – a topic increasingly unavoidable in everyday communication challenges.
Tickets: A Place in a Growing Community
Tickets for the Woman.Comm conference are already on sale, with a limited number available. Each registration includes two-day access to the full program, networking sessions, lunches, entry to the gala evening, a welcome package, and the opportunity to be part of a community that believes communication has the power to change society. Details on pricing and ticket purchase are available on the official conference website.
The fourth Woman.Comm conference under the slogan REBLOOM brings not only new lectures but an entirely new energy and experience, an energy that drives, connects, and reopens space for growth and change. On October 14 and 15, Sarajevo becomes the place where communication is not learned by heart but experienced firsthand.
