Strategic communication is key both to achieving business goals and driving social change. This was highlighted at the Grand PRix Award Finalists’ Showcase of the Croatian Public Relations Association (HUOJ).
This year, a total of 65 communication projects were submitted for the award, with 33 making it to the final selection across nine categories. The highest number of projects, seven in total, were entered in the Grand PRix for Corporate Social Responsibility category. Additionally, five projects were selected in both the Grand PRix for Public Relations in Associations and Non-Governmental Organizations and the Grand PRix for Public Relations of Small and Medium Enterprises categories.
“The projects of our finalists are proof of the exceptional professionalism and the power that communication holds in shaping our society and everyday business operations. What excites us the most is seeing the continuous improvement in project quality year after year. This is a sign of the profession’s progress and confirmation that strategic communication plays an increasingly important role in achieving business and social objectives. The projects we have seen today demonstrate how well-thought-out and creative communication can drive positive change, build trust among people, and deliver real results. The Grand PRix clearly shows that Croatian public relations professionals continue to raise the bar each year. They embrace new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, but technology alone is not enough without their creativity and innovation,” said Igor Crnčić, president of the jury for the 18th Grand PRix HUOJ.

During the Finalists’ Showcase, the jury received additional explanations from the authors regarding how their projects were developed and what results they achieved.
“This year, we place special emphasis on the role of communication in making a real contribution to society and its impact on behavioral change. The Croatian Public Relations Association insists on excellence in communication and PR, and this year’s Grand PRix confirms that with outstanding projects,” said Velibor Panić, deputy president of the jury for the 18th Grand PRix HUOJ.
The winners in each category of the Grand PRix will be announced at the award ceremony on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Peron 16 (Hangar) in Zagreb.
