At the prestigious IPRA Golden World Awards 2025 ceremony held in Accra, the capital of Ghana, the public relations agency V+O Communication Serbia won the highly respected international IPRA Golden World Award in the Health category for the campaign “Welcome Baby: On the Road Through Parenthood”, implemented in collaboration with the brand Rosa Water and with the institutional support of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia.
The award was presented by Nataša Pavlović Bujas, global president of IPRA for 2024–2025, and received on behalf of V+O Communication Serbia by Marija Đoković, Client Service Director of the agency.
The “Welcome Baby” campaign included training for more than 70% of patronage nurses in Serbia, the production of expert video content featuring psychologists and psychiatrists, the organization of panels and workshops with parents across the country, and the creation of informational brochures in cooperation with the Institute for Mental Health. The campaign’s approach was multifaceted but united by a single goal: empowering parents, providing relevant information, and creating a support network in the earliest stages of a child’s development.
Natalija Racković, Director of V+O Communication Serbia, stated on the occasion of receiving this prestigious award: “To win such a significant global recognition, in addition to strategic thinking and careful project management, you need to know very well which segments of society you can improve, how to achieve that in cooperation with relevant institutions and partners, and to deeply understand the client and their industry. We owe immense gratitude to the Rosa team for their trust and partnership on community-related projects that has lasted for over a decade. I am happy that together we managed to make significant progress in the area of parenting and family support.”
The IPRA Golden World Awards represent one of the most important global recognitions in the field of public relations, awarded each year to campaigns from around the world recognized for their strategic approach, social responsibility, and real impact on the community. In strong international competition, the jury recognized the importance and social value of the “Welcome Baby” campaign, which addresses support for parenting in the early stages.
In addition to this success, V+O Group from Greece won two IPRA awards in the categories of Event Organization and Live Communication for the 9th conference “Our Ocean: An Ocean of Opportunities” and in the Environment category for “Coca-Cola for Thessaly: From Crisis to Action”, further confirming the international quality and professional excellence of the entire V+O team.
As the highlight of the evening, Esther Amba Numaba Cobbah, President of the Institute of Public Relations (IPR) Ghana, assumed the role of the new President of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) for 2026, succeeding Nataša Pavlović Bujas. From the African continent, Esther is the first person ever appointed to such a high position within IPRA, a 70-year-old global organization of PR professionals, making this a historic moment and an additional source of pride for all colleagues from the continent.
