Following last year’s major success at one of the largest international industry competitions, where Brigada creatives won the Best of Best award for their own office interior design project, the jury of the Architecture MasterPrize has ranked Brigada among the world’s leading interior design firms. At the recent awards ceremony for the best architectural companies held at the iconic Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Brigada was a finalist for Company of the Year in the Multi-Disciplinary Interior Design category, alongside Atelier d’More and MSA from China.
This unique achievement is best reflected in the jury’s evaluation:
“Brigada is a spatial design studio offering comprehensive services, with a particular emphasis on a holistic approach to architecture and interior design. When designing successful spaces, the studio integrates a deep understanding of branding and consumer psychology, employing multidisciplinary methods grounded in thorough research. Brigada’s interiors are not only aesthetically appealing but also provide a comfortable experience, reflect brand identity, and evoke emotional responses. They specialize in key strategic planning stages, including analysis of human behavior, consumer psychology, visual communication, user guidance, visual merchandising, product placement, and customer relationship management.”
“We are truly delighted that our work has once again been recognized internationally as innovative and original. After last year’s success with our projects, this year we find ourselves among some of the most prestigious and significant global architectural names. This makes us especially proud as it is a recognition of all our past efforts, which are primarily the result of the teamwork of all the creatives in Brigada, as well as the contributions of all our former colleagues. At the same time, this and similar awards commit us to being even more creative in the future and to continue pushing the boundaries of design and architecture,” emphasizes Damjan Geber, Brigada’s founder and creative director.

Brigada, in addition to this recognition, also received an Honorable Mention for the project of the creative agency Bruketa&Žinić&Grey’s office in the category of Interior Design – Workplaces Interior. The goal of this project, led by the young but experienced architect Virna Šonje Kuljiš, was to create an office that fosters creativity through communication, collaboration, and flexibility. For this reason, almost all employees work in a shared space within a reconstructed old shoe factory, using long tables where they can sit wherever they wish, depending on daily activities and work typology.
In contrast to the workspaces, the meeting rooms, which are open towards the shop window, have a more distinct character and have become one of the main attractions of Centar Kaptol, where this office is located. A key focus of the entire space is a unique gallery called “One Piece Gallery,” whose goal, in addition to showcasing top-notch artworks, is to inspire employees and encourage reflection on creativity within the broader community.
