Dr. Belma Hadžiomerović is the author of the book MOĆ, an experienced leader, advisor, and educator with over 30 years of experience in the business world, including 22 years in managerial positions within an international banking group. Her expertise encompasses strategic planning, leading through complex changes, and developing leadership skills based on scientifically proven principles.
She graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo, where she also worked as an assistant in the subject of Statistics. Her career began at the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where she gained valuable experience in public administration. She then transitioned to the private sector, taking on the role of Executive Director of a trading company. During her professional development, she completed a Master’s degree in Marketing Management, followed by a PhD in Economic Sciences with a specialization in Management and Leadership.
After a long career in the international banking sector, she joined Resource Management International (RMI), a consulting firm where she further refined her expertise in organizational development and human resource management on a global scale. This experience inspired her to establish BStorm Consulting, through which she now helps leaders and organizations develop management strategies, make strategic decisions, and transform leadership approaches.
As a member of EFMD Global (European Foundation for Management Development), she participates in the accreditation of educational programs at universities worldwide, reaffirming her commitment to excellence in education. She is also an active member of the Harvard Business Review (HBR) Advisory Council, contributing to discussions on innovations and best practices in management and leadership.
She holds over 50 international certifications in professional and personal development, including managerial and leadership skills, as well as coaching and individual development. Her expertise in neuroscience-based coaching enables a deeper understanding of human behavior and thought processes, which she applies to leadership development and team management. By combining economic sciences, neuroscience, and personal development, Dr. Hadžiomerović helps leaders establish strong foundations for leadership growth through self-leadership.
The book MOĆ explores leadership through the lens of neuroscience and emotional intelligence, emphasizing that leadership begins with self-leadership. Through practical examples and personal experiences, the book offers a unique approach to leadership development tailored to the modern business environment.
In addition to her professional engagements, she actively supports the development of women’s leadership and mentorship, believing that true leadership is built through knowledge, authenticity, and continuous growth. She is also a wife and a mother of two children, successfully balancing her family and professional life.
