The expert juries of BalCannes, the regional creativity competition, have recognized those who stood out with their creative achievements and granted them finalist status!
Who made it to the finals? From March 10, 2025, new finalist projects will be revealed daily – Monday to Friday – on the Media Marketing portal and BalCannes’ Facebook page, continuing until April! Since much of our lives have moved online, this year’s BalCannes project showcase will also take place on social media – leading up to our gathering at the Days of Communication.

• PROJECT NAME: Just Add Coca-Cola
ENTRANT: New Moment Skopje

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Most AI platforms don’t recognize logos and text, and the attempts to get brand logos end up with deformed and unrecognizable results. Coca-Cola is on of the few exceptions, having become so iconic, that even AI recognizes it. We wanted to use this advantage, but we stumbled upon something else. While experimenting with AI, we discovered that adding just one word to a prompt, can give completely different results. But not just any word. The right word is “Coca-Cola”. Coca-Cola is not just a brand – it’s a feeling, a mood, an entire world of positive emotions and vibrant colors.
• PROJECT NAME: Campaign “1236 days”

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Actress Milena Radulović and 14 other girls are still waiting for a verdict against acting teacher Miroslav Aleksić, four years after filing a lawsuit.
As a socially responsible agency, we launched the campaign “1236 Days,” named to symbolize the number of days these girls have been waiting for justice.
The campaign was carried out in two segments:
Teaser Campaign – Billboarde counting the days passed, symbolizing the girls’ wait for justice. On the day of the court hearing, reveal billboards were unveiled, disclosing the campaign’s theme.
Social Media Video – A powerful video featuring 17 celebrities reading the horrifying questions posed to the girls in court by the defendant’s attorney.
The video garnered unprecedented support, achieving all shares, media coverage, and views organically, without a budget: 22,000 shares, 100 media mentions, 4 million views.
• PROJECT NAME: The end of School
ENTRANT: New Moment New Ideas Company

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: On May 3, 2023, Serbia experienced the most gruesome crime and the first mass shooting in an elementary school in its history. Nine students were killed – 8 girls and one boy. The killer was their classmate. The authorities do not have an adequate response, there are mass protests and numerous school incidents across the country. When violence comes to school, the school becomes a war zone. Will fear, limitations and control win and destroy all the joy of growing up? Let’s show what the next generation of pupils will look like if we continue on the path of violence.
- The image of pupils on the cover page of the most influential weekly magazine in Serbia critically opened the topic and debate.
- Five days after publishing, the government of Serbia made a decision to end the school year immediately.
- The Ministry of Education announced the reform of the education system.
