The 9th NetWork conference officially opened Wednesday in the new Congress Hall of the Grand Hotel Neum, under the slogan “Connecting the Dots”, and once again it will discuss the latest technological and industrial trends.
Omar Krivošija, director of Microsoft BiH, said at the opening ceremony that the number of lectures and participants in the NetWork Conference has steadily increased over the last 9 years, from 300 participants attending the first conference, to the unbelievable 1100 participants this year. He said that he believed that the participants would be particularly pleased with the program content of the conference, which consists of six thematic units with more than 80 lectures, and during the introductory lecture he also touched upon the 4th industrial revolution and the impact of digitalization on business. Enis Šahinović from Microsoft, director of the NetWork conference content, also addressed the audience, and spoke of one of the central topics of this year’s conference, the application of artificial intelligence in the work environment.
The conference was supported by His Excellency, Ambassador of the United States, Eric Nelson, who addressed the audience via video link, highlighting the potential of the IT industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the need for further investment in the digital transformation of public administration and harmonization of legal regulations.
Over the next two days, more than 80 top speakers will talk about current business-tech solutions that follow global IT trends.
