Phil Nodding, screenwriter and RTS award winner for his first episode of the BAFTA-winning TV series Shameless (C4), is excited to join the jury: “I am honored and thrilled to help judge the NEM Awards 2024. In my writing, production, and teaching, I have always enjoyed creatively collaborating with writers, producers, and students from all over Europe, so it’s great to see this year’s focus on fostering creative connections. I have written TV shows with writers from other European countries and other parts of the United Kingdom, and I’m excited to play a small part in selecting this year’s worthy winners in the completed projects category. December should be fun!”
The jury members come from countries outside the CEE region (mostly from countries with high production capacity) to ensure fairness in evaluating submissions. The awards ceremony will take place during the NEM Zagreb 2024 event, from December 10 to 12, 2024, at the Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb, which will be attended by key players in the TV industry from both the CEE region and Europe.
