The art of music, or at least an association with it, is slowly becoming part of Mercator’s stamp in communication. In one of their previous campaigns, they recorded a spot with 2Cellos at Mercator’s market center Šiška. In the “We love local” campaign, Mercator has now gone a step further. We love local, but we love local that is produced and processed in line with ecological standards. Today, they launch the campaign We love BIO local, for which the video begins and ends in the Demšar master workshop for making violins. For Mercator, agricultural producers and processors are artists. That is why on the billboards, Tatjana, who produces excellent homemade pasta, is holding a trumpet in her right hand. Franc, renowned for his excellent olive oil from his own olive grove, handles the bottle of Morgan oil as a violin, and Toni sees his round cheeses as drums, on which he can determine the rhythm of ecological milk farming, his own success in life, and the healthy life of his customers.
When something grows with love, it always sounds homemade. That is why people love to have ecologically produced food at home. From selected farms, gardens, fields, orchards and olive trees – from wherever good things are produced and processed with love, for all lovers of healthy food.
Ecological products from the Mercator’s We love local basked are labeled with the BIO mark. The Slovene public will thus, thanks to the new Mercator campaign, get to know local agricultural producers whose products boast with production according to the highest ecological standards. Cheeses from the Eco-Farm Kukenberger, pasta colored with natural dies Gabaroni, olive oil Morgan, fruit juices Lotos Gourmet and fruit candy Perger, as well as many more locally produced products. They are the stars this fall at Mercator’s shelves. All of them are characterized by first-class natural raw materials and impeccable organic production and processing. Because it’s well known that: Good people stand behind good food.
This campaign was designed and implemented by the ArnoldVuga+ agency. Creative director was Stojan Pelko. Music was composed by Slovenian composer Aldo Kumar, inspired by the traditional song from Slovenian Istria, Kantaj Nineta. You can see the composer in the introduction to the spot when he visits the famous violinist Demšar. The director is once again Sašo Podgoršek. Photographer who immortalized local producers for this Mercator’s campaign was Primož Bregar.
Representatives of the client in the preparation of the campaign were Viktorija Radojević, Andreja Zadnjik Andoljšek and Tina Bajde.
