Jeans are more than just a trend; they are a symbol of attitude, confidence, and strength. This year, MANGO, in collaboration with the Woman.Comm Club, gives denim even deeper meaning by celebrating Denim Day, an international day of raising awareness about the fight against sexual violence.
On April 30th, you can enjoy a 10% discount on selected denim items at the MANGO store in Sarajevo (Aria Mall, second floor), with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the Safe House Sarajevo, providing support to women who have faced violence and are building a new beginning. By purchasing your favorite jeans pieces, everyone can contribute to this important mission. Denim Day is observed worldwide on the last Wednesday of April and originated as a response to an unjust ruling where a rapist was acquitted because the victim wore tight jeans. Today, wearing denim on this day has become a symbol of solidarity, resistance, and change.
This initiative is a continuation of the “Bold and Own It” campaign, through which MANGO celebrates women who live by their own rules – confident, brave, and authentic. Through inspiring stories and stylish expressions, the campaign reminds us that fashion is not just clothing, but a reflection of character and inner strength.
We invite everyone to join this initiative – wear your favorite denim, support the fight against violence, and post a photo with the hashtag #DenimForChange.
Because together, we make a difference.
