London, May 12, 2025 – In the historic Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), just steps from Buckingham Palace, more than 500 professionals, visionaries, and enthusiasts of emerging digital frontiers gathered on May 8 for the inaugural Game Changer London event. With a strong focus on artificial intelligence, sustainability, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and the future of marketing, the event immediately positioned itself as one of London’s most significant upcoming conferences in the field — a launchpad for ideas that shape the world.

In just one day, over 30 prominent speakers and panelists shared their insights, expertise, and forward-thinking perspectives through a series of dynamic panels and thought-provoking discussions.

The event featured a powerful lineup of speakers and industry leaders, including:

  • Alice Anson, Director of Digital Media, Nectar360 | Sainsbury’s Group, who spoke about the power of data-driven storytelling in the modern retail environment.
  • Irene Graham OBE, CEO of the ScaleUp Institute, who addressed shaping policy to foster the growth of high-tech companies.
  • Romy van Es, Head of Global Tech Partnerships at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, presented practical ways to bridge the gap between public policy and the tech ecosystem.
  • Harriet Phillips, Co-Owner and Content Director at I Am Female, spoke on amplifying underrepresented voices in media and business.
  • James Goulding, CEO of Arcadium & Chair of Data Science at the University of Northampton, showcased ways to merge art and technology in designing an interactive future.
  • Lynn Y., former executive at Adidas, shared insights on purpose-driven leadership and sustainability in practice.
  • Ekaterina Doubinina from Rathbones Group Plc delivered a brilliant talk on crafting personalized financial strategies for a rapidly evolving world.
  • Alwin Tan from MetaX gave an experiential presentation on transforming the digital experience through immersive technologies.
  • Ange Johnson De Wet from NatWest Group discussed innovations reshaping the future of banking.
  • Hannah Hawken from Wiz spoke about accelerating digital adoption and building secure systems across industries.
  • Alex Mav and Ying Ying (Jenny) Zhou from Amazon Web Services (AWS) addressed agile innovation and building resilient, scalable infrastructures.
  • Dr. Giovanni Doni from Deliveroo explored reimagining last-mile logistics powered by AI.

Special thanks go to the panel partners: I AM FEMALE, Arcadium, MetaX, and the Horizon Centre, whose expertise and support helped elevate the program to a new level.

In such a welcoming and eclectic atmosphere, the British audience was impressed by the quality and caliber of speakers, actively engaging with questions during all panels. Participants praised the openness of the event, the courage and energy in expressing ideas and fostering dialogue, the authenticity of the organization, and the unique sense of community that went beyond the traditional conference format.

“Today, London witnessed the birth of a new movement – not just a technological shift, but a societal one. Game Changer is not just another event. It’s a platform where bold ideas are given the space to become reality,” said one participant from the tech sector.

The foundation is set. Game Changer London will return in May 2026, in an even larger format, with the ambition of becoming the UK’s leading event for those shaping the future of technology, business, and society. Until then, the platform continues across the region — in Tivat, Zagreb, and Ljubljana, followed by Venice in September, while the Croatian audience will attend the fourth edition of the conference already in October this year in Zagreb.
