This year, AcademIAA organized an online selection process for the first time, with a large number of applications carefully reviewed and evaluated by the committee. 32 candidates passed to the second round of selection, and over the next 11 Saturdays, they will have the opportunity to learn from more than 40 lecturers and panelists, as part of the program prepared by this year’s coordinators.
The selection committee, which carefully evaluated the candidates’ work, consisted of experienced professionals from various fields of marketing and communications: Andreja Milkić, Group Account Director, Leo Burnett; Anita Galić, Digital Communications Manager, A1 Serbia; Goran Jankuloski, Managing Partner, Žiška; Goran Ruškuc, Creative Director, Studio Nexus; Ivan Žagar, Senior Brand Manager, Jaffa; Jana Savić Rastovac, Executive Creative Director, McCann Belgrade; Jelena Ivanović, Executive Director, IAA Serbia; Marija Matić, Strategy & Clients Director, Direct Media; Marina Guzijan, Insights Manager for Nelt Brands, Nelt; Nataša Đurđević, Assistant Professor, Metropolitan University; Sonja Jelušić, General Manager, Media House; Svetlana Ćopić, Creative Director, Block & Roll.
AcademIAA is one of the most comprehensive and highly ranked educational programs within the global IAA network. The program begins with the Business module on September 7th and lasts until December 6th.
As every year, the program is supported by numerous partners, including A1 Serbia, Coca-Cola, Rosa, Carlsberg Serbia, Garnier, Honor, Heineken Serbia, Imlek, Inspira Group, McDonald’s, Neoplanta, Grand, Munchmallow, Štark, Zlatiborac, Alma Quattro, Advertiser Serbia, and InStore. Thanks to their support, this year AcademIAA is awarding a total of four student scholarships. The official agency of this year’s program is Ovation.
