Following the highly controversial immigration ban introduced in the US by the executive order of the newly elected US president Donald Trump, a host of companies and agencies voiced their disapproval of such action.
One of the agencies that joined the sentiment against the ban was Leo Burnett, which took a creative angle to show solidarity with those affected by the US immigration ban.
When visitors go to LeoBurnett.com, they will be redirected to BurnettLeo.com. A website takeover explains that while the English language is read from left to right, Arabic reads right to left. See the video at BurnettLeo.com to learn how with a simple act, Leo Burnett stands united in common values of humanity, bravery and kindness.
A Tweet generator on the website will also allow visitors to share their message of solidarity. When they type a message, the generator flips their text to read from right to left and tags the Tweet with #reverseforkindness.
The idea, concepted by Leo Burnett North America CEO Andrew Swinand and US CCO Britt Nolan, shows people that the more we accept each other the more we understand.
