In the business world, knowledge exchange is the key to success. But how often do professionals get the chance to peek behind the scenes of another company and see firsthand how it operates? That’s exactly why SeekandHit launched the Employee Exchange Program – an initiative that enables professionals to visit partner companies and exchange experiences, business perspectives, and best practices.
The program was initiated within the DALL Alliance network of leading European digital agencies, with the first exchange successfully carried out in collaboration with the Danish company Web2Media.
Pilot Project: Three Days at Denmark’s Web2Media
The first pilot project took place earlier this month when Paula and Nikolina, team leads in SeekandHit’s performance marketing department, along with Ivona, a senior performance marketer, visited Web2Media in Denmark.
During their three-day visit, they participated in structured discussions, workshops, and business process analyses, exploring how different approaches could be applied to their own work.
What Did the Exchange Look Like?
The exchange program was designed to maximize participants’ time and ensure high-quality knowledge sharing.
Day 1 focused on internal work organization and business challenges. Both companies compared their ways of working, identifying similarities and differences in business processes.
Day 2 was dedicated to clients and projects, with discussions on strategies, processes, and methodologies for client work and campaign management.
Day 3 involved practical work, where Ivona collaborated with Web2Media specialists to analyze Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok accounts, comparing strategies and exchanging best practices.
Key Insights and Impressions
This short but intensive exchange provided valuable insights into work organization. It confirmed that, while both companies share a data-driven approach, operating in different markets brings unique challenges and opportunities.
“It was extremely useful to see our processes from a different perspective, identify areas for improvement, and exchange knowledge with colleagues from another company. We would definitely love to repeat this format in the future and encourage other companies to join similar initiatives,” said Nikolina.
On Web2Media’s side, the exchange was also well received:
“Expert exchanges provide a fresh perspective on business processes and contribute to the professional development of everyone involved. In a global business environment, initiatives like this are crucial for strengthening collaboration and sharing knowledge.”
What’s Next?
Participants agree that this exchange format – a mix of structured meetings and informal discussions in a work environment – was highly effective. The three-day duration proved to be optimal for gaining key insights. They believe that longer exchanges, involving joint work on projects, could provide even deeper learning experiences.
For future exchanges, the key advice is openness – honestly sharing challenges and solutions leads to a deeper understanding and more tangible opportunities for improvement.
