UM Impact Day is a global initiative of the UM network, celebrated this year on July 10 across the world. On that day, all UM teams joined forces to leave a positive mark in the communities where they live and work. UM agencies operating in Southeast Europe under the AMA Group have shown in various ways that even the smallest contribution can be the start of a big change—inviting others to join the mission of making a positive social impact.

Employees at UM Belgrade visited the Blood Transfusion Institute, located in the neighborhood of the agency’s new offices on Svetog Save Street in Belgrade.

“We are extremely proud of our team at UM Belgrade for embracing Impact Day with such dedication and purpose. This year, in addition to donating blood, we used our expertise and media resources to launch a campaign with the Blood Transfusion Institute of Serbia to raise awareness about the importance of such a humane act. Many thanks to our partners, Alma Quatro and DPC, who provided billboard space and support. This truly embodies the spirit of UM—a powerful collective goodwill that creates impact and positive change,” said Predrag Guberinić, Director of UM Belgrade.

UM Zagreb and UM Sofia also joined the voluntary blood donation drive and promotional campaigns in their cities, underscoring the region’s commitment to this humanitarian cause. UM Sarajevo marked Impact Day with cleanup and restoration activities in several parks in the Novo Sarajevo municipality. UM Skopje visited the local animal shelter “Laika”, donating food and essential supplies while also raising awareness about the importance of dog adoption and responsible pet ownership. On July 10, UM Tirana spread positive emotions by placing 20 different messages in busy public spaces, designed to make passersby smile and encourage a more optimistic outlook. They also printed messages on cards which were distributed along with small chocolates.

UM Impact Day is a global initiative of the UM agency network, celebrated in more than 50 countries. On this day, over 3,200 employees from UM agencies take part in various activities, reaffirming their commitment to the wellbeing of their communities and local environments.
