IAB Discovery is an educational and professional format that each month explores a new topic relevant to the digital market, providing expert insights, examples of best practice, and interactive events with the aim of fostering the development of the digital economy in Croatia. IAB Croatia now presents a new edition of the IAB Discovery series titled The Month of MIXX, as this January is dedicated to one of the most important Croatian digital competitions – MIXX Awards Croatia powered by Admixer Media.
MIXX Awards Croatia is a platform that recognizes and rewards the best digital campaigns, tools, and solutions on the Croatian market, highlighting creativity, innovation, and measurable results in online communication. The central event of the month, So You Want to Win MIXX?, will take place on January 20, 2026, at the premises of Urania in Zagreb, starting at 4 PM, with the program expected to conclude around 6 PM. The program brings together a series of inspiring and practically oriented contents that address key segments of the MIXX Awards Croatia powered by Admixer Media competition, including conversations with agencies and clients, and opens discussions on trends that are increasingly shaping the future of digital campaigns.

- Why We’re Here – Dunja Ivana Ballon will briefly introduce the event and the activities of the working group
- How MIXX Works: Rules & Categories – Eva Trstenjak, competition manager at HURA and IAB Croatia, and Nebojša Grbačić, this year’s president of the MIXX jury, will present all updates to the rulebook as well as the categories to make the application process easier for entrants
- Winners Circle: How We Won – in this panel, previous award winners Saša Škorić, Dražen Smaranduj (Think Say Make Do), Brigita Krog (Imago Ogilvy), Barbara Tadić (404) and Katarina Exle (Cvoke) will reflect on their winning moments and everything that led to that success
- Why Clients Care – this panel brings the clients’ perspective and their views on how much winning a MIXX means for campaign success, featuring Nela Fegić Moguljak, Tamara Karagity (INA), Marina Marinčič (Kaufland) and Petra Velijević (Telegram)
- The Jury Room: Behind Closed Doors – in this segment, we will hear the third and final perspective, that of jury members, who will reveal what the judging process looks like; the panelists will be former jury members Lucija Potočnik, Đuro Korać, Ana Marija Malić (Ured za ideje), Iva Obrovac (Rokkin Marketing) and Domagoj Davidović (MinusMinus Agency)
- What Will Matter Next Year – the official part of the event will be closed by Mario Frančešević (SeekandHit), Ivana Prakiš (Admixer Media), Antonio Karlović (WPP Media Croatia) and Lara Stolnik (Selotejp), who will share their predictions of digital trends in the coming year
The final segment is dedicated to questions from the audience.
Each segment will last around 15 minutes, and the program is expected to finish before 6 PM, leaving attendees enough time for informal networking. This event is an ideal opportunity for all professionals in digital marketing, communications, and media to gain the latest information about MIXX, hear real-life examples from practice, and connect with industry peers.
