This year’s judging process is taking place through executive jury sessions in 15 cities around the world, and their decisions will determine the work that advances to the final stage of the competition. Following that, the Grand Jury will meet online to select the final winners.
Judging sessions are being held in London, Auckland, Toronto, New York, Paris, Stockholm, Hong Kong, Dubai, Madrid, Milan, Mexico City, Bangkok, Los Angeles, Berlin, and São Paulo. This year’s jury brings together professionals from different areas of the creative industry, including advertising, marketing, production, design, and media.
Following the completion of the judging sessions, Gerety will also host its traditional Jury Insights panels, where jury members, together with representatives of leading trade media, will analyse the work that has defined this year’s selection and discuss the creative trends currently shaping the industry.
During shortlist week, Gerety will also present the Shortlist Reel, a showcase of the highest-scoring work from the executive jury sessions. The selection will be distributed to agencies, production companies, brands, and other industry professionals around the world.
Alongside the festival programme in Cannes, one of the award’s most recognisable gatherings is returning. The VIP Diamond BBQ, organised by Gerety with the support of Tantor Films, will once again bring together jury members, entrants, former judges, partners, and long-time friends of the award.
This year’s event is being held with the support of partners Tantor Films, Mastercard, SheSays, and Insider Latam.
The Gerety Awards 2026 shortlist will be announced on Tuesday, June 16.
