On International Women’s Day, the Future Forward Women conference was held, gathering 15 inspiring speakers and 150 participants at Algebra Bernays University. Through lectures, panel discussions, and networking, attendees had the opportunity to learn about key future skills, including artificial intelligence, digital transformation, negotiation skills, and professional visibility.

Ana Brajković, globally recognized as a Top Retail Expert, shared key strategies for recognizing and communicating one’s value. Nuša Korotaj, CEO of Terme Sveti Martin, emphasized that vision, innovation, and a strong relationship with employees form the foundation of successful business operations. Ivana Krajinović, a partner at EY Croatia, spoke about adapting businesses and teams to market changes. Josipa Petrović, Sales and Operations Director at METRO Croatia, highlighted the power of negotiation skills, while Katja Matić, winner of the HR Manager of the Year 2024 award, underlined the importance of teamwork and employee development.
A particularly engaging panel, “Future Skills for a Constantly Changing World,” featured leading experts in emerging technologies—Hajdi Cenan (airt), Andrea Pirša Ilić (A1), Lana Žaja (Infinity Alpha Lab), and Maja Brkljačić (Algebra LAB). Moderated by Marijana Šarolić Robić (PWMN), they discussed the impact of artificial intelligence on the job market and how women can strategically leverage these changes.
Equally inspiring was the panel discussion, “A New Approach to Career Management – How to Build a Professional Path Aligned with Your Values and Talents?” Nada Kozina (Mövenpick Hotel & Residences), Maja Darija Škrljak (Vetropack Group), Jelena Jelušić (INSPO Consulting), and Tamara Aye (Merkur Insurance) shared practical advice on career development for the future.
“I want to see more women taking the initiative, making bold decisions, and using technology for their professional growth. This conference is proof that together we can shape a business future with no limits—only opportunities waiting to be seized,” said Tanja Džido, conference organizer and leading personal branding consultant. She encouraged women to take initiative, build valuable collaborations, and actively shape the future of business.
