Epica Awards – -the only global creative competition where entries are judged solely by journalists and editors from marketing publications around the world – is now open for submissions.
Early entries are accepted until August 31, while the regular deadline is October 11. The online awards ceremony is scheduled for December 12.
To mark the start of the new season, organizers have appointed renowned creativity consultant Claire Bridges, founder of the UK-based consultancy and training agency Now Go Create, as the jury president for 2025.
Commenting on her appointment, Bridges said that journalists have a keen eye for what stands out, what makes headlines, and what carries cultural significance.
‘Does it tell a compelling story? And does it go beyond the advertising industry itself? Journalists tend to approach the evaluation of creative work with a broader and often more objective perspective. Unlike those within the industry, they are less influenced by internal politics, rivalries, or fleeting trends’, she explained.
