Entries Open for Effie Awards Serbia 2026

Entries for Effie Awards Serbia 2026 are now open, with a focus on campaigns that demonstrate proven business effectiveness, new and updated categories, and a supporting educational training programme intended for participants.

“Winners Are Among Us” is the slogan of this year’s Effie Awards Serbia competition, emphasising that recognition belongs to agencies, marketing teams and companies that turn creative ideas into concrete and measurable business results every day. The campaign message highlights effectiveness, focusing on projects that have demonstrated real market impact.

IAA Serbia, the official licence holder and organiser of the Effie competition in Serbia, opened entries on 12 February for the new edition. The competition will again be conducted according to established rules, with no changes in procedures or the entry submission process.

The first entry deadline is open until 26 February, with a more favourable fee for early submissions. The organiser has once again secured certain benefits for participants, including a 10% discount for two or more entries, as well as additional benefits for IAA members: a 10% discount for one entry and 20% discount for each additional submission.

New categories reflect the development of modern marketing

This year the Effie Awards Serbia programme has been further expanded through the introduction of new categories that were not part of last year’s edition, aiming to more precisely capture changes in the communications industry and contemporary marketing practices.

Within the industry categories segment, two new areas have been introduced. The Delivery Services category focuses on campaigns from the delivery and logistics services sector, while Fashion & Accessories includes brands and communication projects from the world of fashion and fashion accessories, reflecting the growing importance of this market segment and its specific communication approaches.

New developments are also visible among specialised categories. Brand Integration & Entertainment Partnerships recognises campaigns in which brands, through strategic partnerships with entertainment content such as television, film, music or digital formats, achieved organic integration with clearly defined objectives and measurable results. The Topical & Annual Event category is intended for projects inspired by current or seasonal events, while Retail Media recognises the effective use of retail media channels in achieving business goals. Particularly notable is the Marketing Disruptors category, focused on campaigns that achieved growth through changing existing marketing models and introducing innovative approaches, with the possibility to enter in the subcategories Products and Services.

Effie training as support for participants

Entries are also open for the Effie training session that will be held on 27 February at the Radisson Collection, Old Mill hotel in Belgrade. The programme is intended for all interested participants, both those with previous competition experience and teams considering their first participation. Registration is possible via the form available on the official website no later than 25 February, with mandatory registration and a limited number of places.

Organisers also remind potential participants to begin preparations in a timely manner and to download the available materials from the official website, which can improve the quality of submitted work and facilitate the entry process itself.
