Distinguished professionals from the film and television industries will gather this month in Bulgaria for a landmark event. United Media, the leading media company in Southeast Europe, in collaboration with Nova Broadcasting Group, will host the International Emmy® Awards in Sofia on June 19. On this occasion, a jury composed of top experts in film, production, and television will evaluate comedy entries during the semifinal round for this prestigious award. In accordance with the rules of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the names of the jurors will be revealed after the selection process concludes.
Just days before this significant event, Aleksandra Subotić, CEO of United Media, reflected on the impact of bringing the International Emmy® semifinal judging round to Southeast Europe four years ago – a pioneering move in the region.

Now, Sofia steps into the spotlight, ready to welcome numerous notable guests to the gala dinner following the judging session – including TV personalities, actors, producers, directors, screenwriters, and respected industry figures. Professionals from over ten countries across two continents will come together for an evening where legacy meets excellence amid the cultural richness of Bulgaria.
