One of the world’s leading brand strategists, Julie Supan, is coming to Dani komunikacija, a key gathering of the communications industry in the region that for twelve years has brought leading global and regional figures from marketing, branding, media, technology and communications to Croatia. As the first person to lead marketing and communications in the role of Chief Marketing Officer at YouTube, and a key figure behind establishing the marketing foundations of Airbnb, Dropbox, Reddit and Discord, Supan has played a role in shaping some of today’s most influential platforms. It is precisely this logic of long-term branding, at a moment when brand once again takes centre stage in business strategy, that she brings to Dani komunikacija 2026.

Her professional path developed in parallel with the evolution of the modern internet, at a time when the rules had not yet been defined and brands were built from vision rather than from manuals. Supan does not view branding as a visual layer or a communication tactic, but as strategic architecture – a system of meaning, trust and direction that enables organisations to achieve long-term relevance and sustainable growth.
