Digital health solutions are becoming essential in modern healthcare systems worldwide, offering innovative answers to today’s challenges. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, where limited resources and uneven access to services shape the medical sector, technology has the potential to bring about significant changes. Electronic medical records, telemedicine, and intelligent diagnostic tools not only provide concrete improvements for everyday problems but also transform this sector and open important discussions about their implications in the BiH context.

Addressing the potential of digital transformation in the healthcare sector, the panel ‘eHealth u Bosni i Hercegovini – Most između inovacija i brige za pacijente’ at the NetWork 12 conference, to be held from October 23 to 25, 2024, will focus on key issues and challenges in the implementation of modern technological solutions. The discussion will showcase how eHealth applications not only drive technological innovations but also provide practical solutions for the daily needs of patients and medical workers, with an emphasis on the specific opportunities that digitalization can bring to a healthcare system facing limited resources and barriers to service access.

To explore these topics in depth, the conference will bring together renowned experts from various segments of the healthcare and technology sectors. The panel will be moderated by Admir Kulin, a well-known entrepreneur, investor, and publisher, with participants including Samir Dedović, CEO of mediT; Amna Popovac, CEO of Dedalus HC d.o.o.; Muamer Kosovac, Director of the Sarajevo Canton Health Insurance Fund; Ognjen Milićević, Senior Machine Learning Engineer at HTEC; and Lejla Gurbeta Pokvić, Director of the Verlab Institute. These experts will discuss the current situation and specific problems in the medical sector, including long waiting lists and an overburdened system.

As technology continues to advance and healthcare needs evolve globally, the NetWork 12 conference will offer valuable insights into an innovative, more accessible, and safer future for healthcare. The conference is supported by platinum sponsors Aircash, Logosoft, and Wiener osiguranje VIG, along with many other sponsors, partners, and conference supporters.

Conference registration is open until October 25, 2024. More information can be found on the official conference website and on social media: LinkedIn,  Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
