Upon hearing the news that on January 16, 2025, Advertissimo, a Media Marketing concert for agencies, advertisers, and media performed by the Sarajevo Philharmonic, will take place at the National Theatre in Sarajevo – and that it might begin its “tour” across the region as early as next year – Dunja Ivana Ballon, director of HURA, IAB Croatia, and Days of Communication, was one of the first to react.
Here is her comment:
“Advertissimo is a refreshing reminder of how powerful an ally art is to the creative industry, and to me personally, a fascinating idea and project—something completely new, fresh, and exciting. Such initiatives are rare not only here but also on the international scene. The combination of classical music and advertising is a bold step that creates room for innovation, inspiration, and collaborations that change the game.
And speaking of bold steps and collaboration, Ekrem’s proposal to unite colleagues in Bosnia and Herzegovina seems like a natural next step. It would be the culmination of the efforts of a market that is thriving towards a shared future already being shaped by initiatives such as Media Marketing, the Creative Portfolio, Woman.comm, No Limit, and others. Establishing an association is not just a formality—it’s a platform for growth, progress, and greater influence. Or, in this context, creating an orchestra that elevates everything to a new level.”
