Earlier this month Diet Coke unveiled a new line of colorful cans and flavors that will enrich its offer, making it (hopefuly) more attractive to millennials. Some of these new flavors and cans will be featured in a Super Bowl campaign, with which this brand returns to the big game after 21 years.
The brand has released five spots as part of Diet Coke’s new „Because I Can“. The shorter, 15-second spots from the lineup showcase millennial-looking consumers enjoying some of the new flavors that Diet Coke has to offer them, while the longer 30-second spot featuring actress Gillian Jacobs promotes all the great things about the product.
These spots however will not be shown on game day, as Diet Coke is holding on to the final creative and will debut the final 30-second spot on air during the Super Bowl.
Outside of the spots (rest of which you can see below plus the final Super Bowl spot), Diet Coke will also roll out outdoors ads for the “Because I Can” campaign.
