Damjan Geber, owner and director of the Brigada agency, will serve as a jury member in the Architecture, Interior, and Environmental Design category at the 104th Art Directors Club New York competition. ADC is the oldest continuously running creativity award, covering design, advertising, architecture, photography, and many other categories, including artificial intelligence.
With this prestigious recognition, Brigada crowns its series of major international awards from the previous year, which include being listed among the 100 best architectural offices worldwide (Archello), being selected as one of the top 3 interior design agencies by the American Architecture MasterPrize, and receiving several relevant international awards for its projects.
Damjan Geber: “Being selected as a member of such a prestigious international jury is a great honor and recognition for any creative professional. The fact that only a small number of local professionals have achieved this so far adds even more responsibility, opening new doors for stronger promotion of the domestic creative scene on an international level. Although, in the context of ADC, our country is best known for outstanding creatives in advertising and graphic design, I hope that this year more representatives from other categories will apply, especially in architecture, interior design, and product design, where we have seen many relevant realizations in the past year.”
The Art Directors Club New York (ADC) is the first international creative collective of its kind. Founded in New York in 1920, its goal is to elevate the quality of creative visual communications and connect professionals from this field worldwide. Submissions for all categories are open until the end of February, and each entry is carefully analyzed, ensuring equal opportunity for winning this prestigious award.
This year’s jury includes some of the biggest names in the global creative industry, ranging from representatives of nearly all major global creative agencies to creative directors of companies such as Google, Netflix, Lego, Coca-Cola, Tesla, Burberry, Rolling Stone, and Spotify.
Stephanie Wexler, president of the jury for this category, emphasized: “Architecture, Interior Design, and Environmental Design share a common thread: the power to shape human experiences while carefully responding to contemporary challenges. As jury members for this year’s awards, our mission is to present design as a driving force of evolution, considering solutions that promote inclusivity, enhance well-being, and inspire connection within communities.”
