Yesterday we had the opportunity to have a very interesting conversation with Stephan Loerke, CEO of the World Federation of Advertisers – WFA, which is available here. One of the topics of our conversation was the meeting of advertising trade associations of the Adriatic region which will be held tomorrow, in Ljubljana.
Loerke had an interesting and encouraging message for the presidents and CEOs of national trade associations of the region ahead of this important meeting.
“Please give my greetings to the Adriatic region and pass on my message of how keen we are to see a network of advertising agencies built, and build our relationship with those associations in the region,“ Loerke said.
This message comes from a man standing at the very top of the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA), the voice of marketers worldwide, representing 90% of global marketing communications spend – roughly US$900 billion per year.
In the interview Loerke also warned that they estimate that by 2025, digital ad fraud will be second income in the world after drug trafficking if nothing is done on this issue! Check out the interview here and find out what else we learned from the head of the WFA.
