Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, which will be held from 18 to 25 June, announced this year’s charities set to win the Glass Lion.
Glass: The Lion For Change celebrates culture-shifting creativity, work that challenges gender inequality and prejudice through the conscious representation of gender in advertising. All proceeds from the Glass Lion entry fees are put back into charities that promote and enable the creation of a more gender-neutral media landscape.
The Glass Lion recognises work that implicitly or explicitly addresses issues of gender inequality or prejudice, through the conscious representation of gender in advertising. Entries can be for any product or service and designed for any medium, but will in some way represent a shift towards more positive, progressive and gender-aware communication.

- Gender and Development Network
- Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media
- Women for Women
- Pro Mujer
- Equality Now Inc.
- Global Fund for Women
