Audi and their agency BBH London have launched a new campaign to promote the new R8 model, which according to the ad below, every other driver will love to follow.
Set to the lyrics of the “Close to You” song by The Carpenters, the spot, titled “A Pleasure to Follow”, shows how captivated all the drivers on the street are by the R8, that they simply have to be close to it, even if it means leaving their own wedding. The R8 is thus turned into a Pied Piper of the automotive world.
Apart from the 60-second spot, the campaign will include shorter formats for social networks and other digital channels.
Amid the launch of the new campaign, BBH London’s Thibault Michal and David Lasar said: “As always with Audi, we had to find a simple universal truth: nobody likes being overtaken on the road. Unless it’s by the beautiful new R8. Which is a pleasure to follow.”
