In two weeks, the Student Center in Zagreb will host leading European digital experts from the media and advertising industries at the 12th edition of SoMo Borac. For the second consecutive year, a full-day conference will be held, and three new speakers have been announced to complement the lineup of exciting lectures. Sarunas Sakalauskas (Microsoft), Daniel Fazlić (Bloomberg Adria), and Michaela Gahbauer and Esther Kokabi from the agency Hutter Consult AG will share their experiences of using artificial intelligence in everyday work.
Sarunas Sakalauskas is one of the leading experts in the field of digital advertising. He currently works as the Partner Director of Microsoft Advertising within the Aleph Group, and in his lecture titled “Generative AI Transforming Search and Advertising,” he will talk about the key differences between predictive and generative AI, as well as how Microsoft uses artificial intelligence to increase campaign efficiency.
In the media stream, one of the speakers will be Daniel Fazlić, the Digital Director of Bloomberg Adria, whose love for analytics and data led him to the media and eventually to a leadership position. By combining his knowledge of analytics and media, he has been able to understand what the audience wants and predict trends. At the SoMo Borac conference, he will bring the audience closer to the topic “From Paper to Algorithm: AI is Transforming Media – Will You Keep Up?” and explain why he sees artificial intelligence as an opportunity rather than a threat to the future of journalism. Along with trend analysis, AI allows journalists to identify trends and topics that the audience desires while optimizing time.
Michaela Gahbauer and Esther Kokabi come from the Swiss marketing agency Hutter Consult AG, specializing in digital advertising. Michaela is the head of the advertising department, and Esther is a digital marketing consultant. Both emphasize their love for experimenting with AI tools in their daily work, which they will address in their lecture. “AI-Driven Creativity: Crafting Campaigns with Voices, Visuals, and Automation” is the title of their presentation, where they will discuss how to use AI to empower creativity and set new standards for digital campaigns.
Artificial intelligence is the focus of this year’s SoMo Borac conference, and the number of seats is limited, so make sure to get your ticket through the SoMo Borac website. Follow the latest updates through the SoMo Borac newsletter, as well as on Facebooku, Instagramu and LinkedInu, and don’t miss new episodes of the third season of the podcast.
